Lekkende cylinders? Oplossing? Lucas oil??

Vandaag voor t eerst mijn hydraulisch niveau gechecked, door de 2 gaatjes achterin. Echt dik onder de MIN! Had wel de kap dicht, en de tonneau gewoon plat (ook dicht), dus volledig gesloten dak.

Vragen/bedenkingen:
1) hoort toch niet zoveel onder de MIN te zitten? Las dat de tonneau eigenlijk overeind moet staan, met de kap nog wel dicht. WIS beetje onduidelijk. Ik ga er zowieso wat bij doen - waar te krijgen? Liefst online...

3) LUCAS OIL Reuze interresant! Iemand dit al geprobeerd? 20% bijvoegen aan de hydraulische olie die je gaat bijschenken, 2 weken wachten, lekker veel cycles draaien met de kap... Klinkt goed! Iemand? Zie draadjes:

Vaak zijn deze additieven een tijdelijke oplossing, dus beter zoeken naar een definitieve oplossing.

Dank heren, ga dit inderdaad maar niet proberen. Vond nog dit:

Unfortunately, "Stop-Leak" type products won't do any good on a Saab convertible system. Stop-Leak is designed to make certain seal materials swell up and thus seal cracks that have developed in the system. The seals in late 90's Saabs do not react to Stop-Leak; they are inert to it. However, once your seals are leaking, there is nothing you can do about it. On the down side, we have seen additives destroy hydraulic pumps, and that is an expensive loss for you. If the additive seems to have worked before for any of you, then it was likely the result of some other particles having temporarily clogged a crack in a seal.

Using much thicker (more viscous) fluid might slow down the leaks, but it will ultimately kill the pump and it will slow down your system. If your cylinders are leaking, then you need to get them rebuilt. (Or spend the extra bucks and buy new ones which will develop the same problem again in time - proper rebuilds will last longer than new OEM cylinders on account of better seal material being used...)"

Waarmee niet gezegd is dat hij niet gelijk heeft. Daarbij lijkt de prijs niet onredelijk gezien de prijs van originele onderdelen. Jammer dat er niet meer onafhankelijke informatie is met onderbouwing.

Dit soort middelen zijn alleen maar symptoom bestrijding mar geen definitieve oplossing.
Als je ergens lekkage hebt dan zijn dit de meest logische en verstandigste keuzes; vervangen, repareren dan wel reviseren.....
